May was such a great month for PCEI! Thanks to all of our fantastic volunteers for making last month so outstanding. As always, we are so proud of all you've done and appreciative of all your hard work.

Last month, 272 volunteers served with PCEI in varying capacities, totaling nearly 1,700 hours! In May, we oriented new volunteers and even initiated two new summer interns and an additional AmeriCorps member to our program. The Moscow Watershed Festival was a hit with the help of our volunteers from EcoAnaylists and within the community. Let's not forget the 176 elementary school kiddos that helped us to plant more than 50 pine trees around the PCEI Nature Center during the WSF! PCEI also hosted a spring volunteer event at our Bennett restoration site and had lots of volunteers assist us in staffing the PCEI Burritos, Berry Blasts & Bike Cookies booth at the Moscow Renaissance Fair. On top of all that, we had a whole slew of volunteers dedicated to working to keep our programs running smoothly with data entry and assistance.

Last month was awesome and we can't wait to greet any new volunteers that come through our doors. May was surely a success. The weather's bound to get nice soon, so come out to PCEI and help us to make June a success too!

The temperatures are warming up now and outdoor volunteer opportunities are available in addition to many indoor opportunities. We always have opportunities for all ages and any skill level. Please contact us with questions and interest! Thanks again to all of our amazing volunteers who have contributed so much this past month! You are very much appreciated.
