Come and get your hands dirty! The day at our restoration site will
consist of planting and site maintenance. We will meet at the PCEI

Rose Creek Volunteer Event - Thursday, September 16, 2010: 10:00am-2:00pm
Location: Rose Creek Nature Preserve, Albion, WA
Join PCEI for a day at Rose Creek Nature Preserve!
The day will consist of aspen-restoration, trail maintenance and weed
control. Please plan to meet us at the entrance of the Preserve at
10:00am. Need directions to Rose Creek?

A Celestial Evening - Saturday, September 18, 2010: 7:00pm
Location: PCEI Nature Center
Join us for an evening of astronomy, and enjoy the splendor of the late
summer sky! There will be two parts of the evening. First, at 7:00pm
Chet Bart (NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador) will present an
illustrated talk covering some basic astronomy as well as exciting
recent discoveries in planetary science and cosmology, including many
spectacular and beautiful images from the Hubble Space Telescope and
NASA spacecraft. Then around 8:00pm we will have an observing session
with telescopes brought by members of the Palouse Astronomical
Society.
Come to one part or both, and bring the whole family! For more

Animals of the Night - Friday, October 29, 2010: 5:00pm-8:00pm
Location: PCEI Nature Center, 1040 Rodeo Dr., Moscow, ID
Bring the whole family to the PCEI Nature Center for our 3rd annual
Halloween event. Walk the trails and learn about nocturnal creatures
like owls, skunks, bats, and more from local animal experts.
Storytelling, live animals, costumed characters, and games complete
your evening of Halloween fun! Fee is $4/$3 (adult/child) for PCEI
members and $6/$4 for the public. The ticket booth is open until
