Program Summary
The Green Living Program began in 2005 with PCEI’s move to the new
location on Rodeo Drive. With over seven acres of land surrounding our
new home it is time to practice what we promote. The vision for the new
location is to inspire, inform and enable the community to live more
sustainably. The goal of the new Green Living Program is to offer
practical solutions to environmental problems. The five key areas of
work are alternative building, alternative energy, water conservation,
sustainable gardening, and waste management. We explore and create
demonstration projects to instill the desire to change through example.
Through workshops and model systems we provide information and encourage
the integration of 'green living' practices in the community.
