The McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS) is proud to offer
community-based programs January - April facilitated by Idaho’s Mobile
Environmental Education Corps (MEEC). Bring MOSS to your school for
the very best in inquiry-based science education!
With funding from a Serve
Idaho AmeriCorps grant, the MOSS Outreach Program offers teams of
4-6 experienced Field Instructors to facilitate mobile outreach
programs in your area. The primary goal of the program is to provide
high quality, inquiry-based science education programs throughout the
State that focus on community building, problem solving, hands-on
learning and science. In addition, we are also offering professional
development and in-service credit to participating teachers and school
districts.
We offer programs in teambuilding, watershed science, landforms,
mapping, geographic information systems and more. All MOSS Outreach
units correlate to Idaho State Achievement Standards.
