The Paradise Creek Ecosystem Restoration Project with the University of
Idaho is separated into 3 distinct reaches. With this size of project,
it helps to identify suitable parking and meeting areas based on the
needs of the event.
Reach 1: Begins on 8th Street (one street south of 6th Street)
with Paradise Creek flowing towards 6th Street, where the reach
terminates. Parking for Reach 1 is best near College street, just off
the road near the upstream end of the reach.
Reach 2:This reach is noticeable from Line street and continues
to Stadium Drive. This is the reach that the Student Recreation Center
is located on. The best parking area is in the parking lot associated
with the building (currently for sale) that once was student housing/UI
parking office, on the corner of Line Street and Pullman Road (Highway
8). PCEI affiliates have been given permission to park in this lot.
Reach 3: This reach starts at Stadium Drive and heads to
Perimeter Drive. This is the bottom of the reach. The Palouse Mall
Parking lot is the best spot for parking to avoid a ticket from the
University of Idaho.
