Moscow Community Garden Sustainability Project
For Adam’s Community Action Project, he worked on improving management
sustainability at the Moscow Community Garden. Issues at the garden
included: lack of maintenance personnel and unfinished projects. Adam
used volunteers recruited through the University of Idaho to address
those issues. At the conclusion of the 2010 gardening season,
management responsibilities will change from PCEI to Emmanuel Lutheran
Church, who owns the property. The garden transition committee, made up
of plot renters and church members, is utilizing input from Adam to
determine how they would like to operate the garden. |
