PCEI’s Watersheds Program is dedicated to increasing public education about watershed conservation and increasing public involvement in watershed decisions. The Watersheds Program works to preserve, protect and restore ecosystems in the Palouse-Clearwater region. This work includes riparian and wetland restoration, watershed planning, water quality protection, biological monitoring, and a focus on native plants and wildlife. Projects are collaborative in nature and are always science-based and community-centered.
