Program Description The Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI) is offering
organizations, businesses schools, churches and families the
opportunity to participate in the Paradise Creek Adopt-A-Stream Program
by becoming "Stream Stewards" on specific sections of Paradise Creek.
The Moscow Adopt-A-Stream Program began in 1991 with initial funding
through the Department of Environmental Quality.
Participation in this stewardship project will provide visibility and
advertisement opportunities for your group similar to the
Adopt-A-HIghway Program. Groups that would like to be identified as
stewards will have their name or logo displayed on a sign located near
their stream segment.
The signs measure 12" x 18" and are made from highway grade aluminum.
The signs will feature the Paradise Creek logo and display the name of
your organization, business or family in green lettering on a white
background. Personalized name or logo can also be printed. Signs will
be located at vehicle and pedestrian bridge crossings as well as along
undeveloped segments, preferably adjacent to the section that your
group has chosen to adopt.
