PCEI Nursery at Rodeo PCEI's Learning Nursery at Rodeo Drive is a collection of native Palouse
plants that we grow, maintain, and sell. Learn more about native plants
from our plant
guide.
Check out our Spring
2008 Availability List to purchase plants for your native
landscaping needs or for a restoration project.
The nursery is located on the north side of the campus and consists of
a wide variety of species ranging including ponderosa pines, McKenzie
willows, service berries, and syringa. By growing and maintaining
plants in the Learning Nursery PCEI's Watersheds
Program is able to plant several restoration sites in the Palouse
region. Come check them out! |

The New Greenhouse and Looking Toward the Future
September and October brought about the construction of a new
greenhouse located downhill from the Learning Nursery. Measuring 63
feet long by 28 feet wide the hoop house is a wonderful addition to the
PCEI landscape. By propagating native plants from seed (in the
greenhouse) and growing them into one gallon pots (in the Learning
Nursery) more native plants will be grown for restoration projects as
well as for sale to individuals interested in using native plants in
their gardens! |
