Volunteer Projects 2007 Volunteers helped us tremendously so far this year with our restoration
projects. They helped us on our various sites, in our Learning
Nursery, and at PCEI's' campus on Rodeo Drive.
Volunteers were vital to the success of our Pantry Garden by doubling
the size and constucting a rock wall to contain the overflow of
produce!
Volunteers helped plant trees and maintain our restoration sites all
over Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington. A lot of concentration was
put towards giving the native vegetation an edge over the reed
canarygrass and other noxious weeds.
Also, the volunteers came out in a big way for our two stream clean-ups
this year: The 17th Annual Paradise Creek Clean-Up and the 3rd Annual
Pullman Stream Clean Up on Missouri Flat Creek.
Thanks to all our great volunteers! |

Working with Watersheds We start many new projects this fall, and will hold a lot of events over
the next few months in an effort to get everything done before winter
sets in. We are currently seeking volunteers for our upcoming stream
restoration work on Deep Creek in Potlatch, Partridge Creek outside Elk
River and on the Three Mile Creek in Grangeville, ID. Both individuals
and groups are always welcome. Please get in touch with Courtney Rush for more
information.
