Ashlie grew up in Portland, Oregon, where she gained an appreciation for the environment and a strong sense of belonging. She went on to pursue her passion and earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Oregon, with minors in Environmental Studies and Business. She also received a Masters in Environmental Studies from Evergreen State College, and spent four years leading international service learning programs where her knowledge of environmental education and equity expanded. Ashlie is a two-time AmeriCorps alum, bringing with her an expertise in the member experience, as well as skills in community outreach and facilitation to help empower the next generation of environmental stewards and leaders.

When she’s not working, Ashlie enjoys spending time outside paddle boarding, camping and wine tasting. You can also find her catching up on her favorite true crime podcasts and trying to find a way to put chocolate on almost everything.
